Trump Pledges Executive Order on ‘Day One’ of Presidency to End Birthright Citizenship for Illegal Aliens, ‘Birth Tourism’
"Former President Donald Trump, the GOP frontrunner for president in 2024, rolled out a new policy pledge on Tuesday in which he promised if elected he would sign an executive order on day one of his second term in office effectively ending birthright citizenship for illegal aliens and so-called “birth tourism.”
“As part of my plan to secure the border, on day one of my new term in office I will sign an executive order making clear to federal agencies that under the correct interpretation of the law going forward the future children of illegal aliens will not receive automatic U.S. citizenship,”
“Joe Biden has launched an illegal foreign invasion of our country allowing a record number of illegal aliens to storm across our borders,” Trump says in the video. “From all over the world, they came. Under Biden’s current policies, even though these millions of illegal border crossers have entered the country unlawfully, all of their future children will become automatic U.S. citizens. Can you imagine? They’ll be eligible for welfare, taxpayer-funded healthcare, the right to vote, chain migration, and countless other government benefits, many of which will also profit the illegal alien parents. This policy is a reward for breaking the laws of the United States and is obviously a magnet helping draw the flood of illegals across our borders. They come by the millions and millions and millions.”

It's as nonsensical as all those failed promises in 2016, when he said he was an "outsider", and would bring both parties together, which was 180 degrees opposite of reality.

Good question. I guess Trump was one of the idiots who let this happen in his Presidency. Yep, he had 4 years and his campaign was built on an anti-immigration platform. It appears he is back with his old tricks again: promising his base the sky.

I know Democrats love to blur the line between legal and illegal immigration. Yep, enforcement of immigration laws and taking steps to reduce illegal immigration is “anti-immigrant.”
Wow he is going to do this and end the war in Ukraine on this first day. Who knew governing would be so easy. Seems the gullible are still falling for his dribble.
I was thrilled to hear this. For a very, very long time, the 14th Amendment has needed to be re-visited due to every illegal that could swim or walk came dropped anchor babies at our expense, then they all can get a housing voucher, babies delivered at our expense and raised at our expense, parents getting "emergency" medical (delivering a baby, which normally they would do at home in their country, but they need the birth certificate to start public assistance). Billions of dollars, even over what they may contribute in taxes (they get Child Tax Credits for their anchor babies) and SS, and since they have no right to work in the US, they are using a stolen identity from a citizen.
I suspect there will have to be a lawsuit that will hopefully end up with the SC to define what was meant by the 14th Amendment. Does anyone with a brain think that the way it is being abused is the way what they were talking about?

This will be the argument, and it is backed by many scholars.
We really need this to be redefined, as we are losing our country.
***Maybe Trump now sees that since Biden was "put" in office, that the POTUS is now like a King, and can change or create anything at all with an EO.
There was question about this in 2018, but now that a POTUS can do anything with an EO as Biden has done, it should work.
