Is it ok if I post this vlog featuring Colion Noir who was posted in 2020 about gun control and defund the police? I think it might fit that thread.

Come to think of it, that meme will still be relevant I guess.

Democrats Introduce Bill To Get Police Out Of Schools

Jul 31, 2020,01:04pm EDT
ASSOCIATED PRESS

The deaths of Black people at the hands of police this year ignited an important conversation about police reform in this country. A number of proposals have been introduced to address various facets of policing at the federal, state, and local levels. This week, Democratic lawmakers in Congress added to that list with a bill to get police out of schools.

Senators Chris Murphy (CT) and Elizabeth Warren (MA), along with Representatives Ayanna Pressley (MA) and Ilhan Omar (MN),
introduced the Counseling Not Criminalization in Schools Act that would prohibit federal money to be used to fund police in schools. The lawmakers said this would prevent money from being diverted from important student service providers, like counselors and social workers.
Defund the Police, prohibit Border Patrol from carrying their guns near schools. Make schools an easy target. Give federal money to some 3rd world country, but not to American schools.

I miss the good old days of President Trump. Low unemployment, economic growth, wages rose, jobs returned, energy independent, 5 Middle East peace deals, no new wars, rebuilt military, secure borders, no inflation.

Yeah, strange that this thread just kind of ended. Police “guards” have been useless at just about every school shooting where they were present.

No one disagrees that police should go right in when called to protect the students and teachers. The problem being addressed was how many children are charged with actual crimes, sometimes actual felonies for being naughty and disruptive

You are absolutely right. I used to see it almost every day before they got rid of school resource officers where I live. It’s a shame because they could have done a lot of good. However, when you start arresting students for bad behavior…predictable. Now those communities hate and fear the police even more.

I can't even believe it's incompetence at this stage.....all signs point to it's intentional. Nobody could really be this stupid, could they ??
