No one celebrates mental illness. What some consider as celebration is an effort to not stigmatize people for a condition that can't be resolved, or even improved, without assistance from society, if improvement is actually possible. It's why kids with speech impediments need help, not bullying, as an example.
A political ideology and party encourage transgenderism, a mental illness. A man having his 'ding-dong' removed does not make him a woman. It makes him a man without a 'ding-dong'.
You've never actually met a transgendered person, have you? It's a horrific struggle that frequently cannot be cured with therapy, but only by reassignment surgery. I haven't seen anyone encouraging transgenderism, but there has been recognition that the struggle for those suffering from it need help, not ridicule.
In the good old days we did what was right for the majority of citizens. We institutionalized the looney toons. Now we waste billions of dollars trying to keep them on the streets and integrated into society so “they” can live a “normal” life. No thanks. Lock them up. There should be an asylum in every town with electric fences and barb wire.
Ahhh, yes, a return to the days of yore, with mental institution patients abused by staff, left to roll in their own urine and feces, or used as entertainment. That sounds like a really bad idea.
We cater to mental illness today in this country by catering to people who think they are the opposite sex, multiple genders, an animal or pots & pans.

Some people truly do feel like they were born with the wrong biological body, and it doesn't harm you at all if they are able to transition to a body form they are more comfortable with. Humans are not binary on anything, it's multiple shades of gray, that look like the classic bell curve.

Yep. That's their plan. Get to them young, confuse the heck out of them and then tell them what the answer is (according to the left).
The left is currently causing massive damage to the children and history will look back upon these acts as pure evil, wondering why people did not stand up and stop the insanity.
1) Stop trying to confuse kids.
2) Stop trying to convert kids to some warped made up ideology.
3) Get naturally confused kids professional mental health if they can't get through puberty like we have forever.

But consider the problem that many conservatives in here are totally convinced that teachers in public schools are actually trying to convince little kids as young as 5 years old that they should become transexuals. They want all transsexualism banned from schools.
Also, how is just anybody allowed to freely enter a school?
Because schools are not prisons or jails.
You could literally walk onto any college campus across America since many are obviously huge.
