How well do gun laws work in Chicago, where people are shot to death on a daily basis in a heavily gun-restricted city?

Source?
Statement without proper source is a bogus statement. Probably pulled from the behind...

In the US 27 school shootings have taken place so far this year, and 119 since 2018,
2,032 school shootings since 1970 and these numbers are increasing.
Find a single country that would top that ..

I posted stats on that yesterday. in the past 182 years of recorded history, the USA has had 422 people killed from a "school shooting."

422 people in 182 years. During that time our population has gone from 17 million to 350 million.

Let me repeat: 422, in 182 years.

It is EXCEEDINGLY rare, even in a country as large as ours and with as many guns as we have.

Stop repeating fake news. This is demonstrably false:

Anybody who actually studies facts and statistics and doesn't swallow the emotional propaganda will see that these mass shootings are a relative non issue compared to so many other causes of death out there and that the left worrying so much about shootings when they are in favor of after birth abortions is hypocritical and silly.... this is about control it's always about control.

Maybe we should limit ages to buying a firearm to twenty one I would not lose sleep if this passed... I don't believe 80% of today's youth are mature enough to handle a firearm at age 18, however if they try to ban the AR-15 we have a problem ... a lot of people will go out shooting. I doubt the ruling class care about the cannon fodder they send to go confiscate the weapons though as long as they don't get shot so that will be a non-issue they'll send in whatever Personnel they need to get the job done

It's very likely most of the Republican Governors will issue executive orders nullifying any mandate to confiscate any assault weapon assuming they can even get it to pass the senate and any Republicans that vote for an assault weapons ban are traitors and need to be voted out.

Issues like this really make me realize how important the filibuster rule is. I'd rather have things kept the way they are then be able to have legislation passed by only a one vote majority. I believe 60% consensus should be needed to pass any bill.

If they try to come for them in this state a lot of law enforcement are going to get killed.

Right, but just like with China Virus when the tiny percentages were pointed out, they would say "You tell that to the families of these people."

They aren't interested in a logical debate. They are interested in emotional hyperbole in order to shut down any logical debate.

Cruz claims freest, most prosperous and safest country on Earth.
He's wrong on all 3.
