I used to live in California, but don't tell anyone. It's an embarrassing secret. This was back the late 1990s, before it was totally transformed into the deep blue hellhole it is now. It's really too bad because there are still a lot of great Americans in California. They have no political voice because the place has been overrun by left wing lunatics.

My advice to sane people in California is the same advice I gave my friends in Baltimore before I moved: Get out before you become a crime statistic.

Because they don't determine what either a pandemic or an endemic is.

The World Health Organization declares a pandemic when a disease’s growth is exponential. This means the growth rate skyrockets, and each day cases grow more than the day prior. In being declared a pandemic, the virus has nothing to do with virology, population immunity, or disease severity. It means a virus covers a wide area, affecting several countries and populations.

The U.S. has a chance to move COVID-19 from being a pandemic to an endemic, which “means that the disease is still around but that it's at a level that is not causing significant disruption in our daily lives,” said Dr. Parodi, an infectious diseases physician.

Yes, me too. Luckily my family (I was still a child) moved out before things went to hell. It's really a shame because the geography and climate in parts of Kalifornia is wonderful. Guess that's what attracted all the "flies." I do have some pretty fond memories of the time I lived there, though.

It's endemic here in Florida and life has returned to normal. Continue living the pandemic as long as you wish in California. I won't be visiting again.
We’ll be fine without you.

Well the US is treating it as endemic since March..both at the state level and federal level.

people who state that are stating facts. they should state over 99 percent don't die from covid. technically covid could even have a 49.9% death rate and it would be correct- and the way some people are still acting you would think the death rate was in fact that high.

1) You did, because you claimed no one lost their job for not getting jabbed. You were wrong. How you were unaware of this is amazing.

2) Those who lost their jobs care.

3) Those who have had to deal with supply chain issue because workers were forced out care.

You just claim you don't care everytime one of your statements is proven false, which seems to be quite often.

I did not overlook them. The overwhelming majority survived. That's just the facts. Look at the death rate on the CDC website.

NOW:

I have a concern about the safety of the covid shot --> "Who cares?"

People are losing their jobs because they don't want to be injected with an unprovenand thus far ineffective technology --> "Who cares?"

I can't take the covid shot because my doctor said I was at high risk --> "Who cares?"

The vaccine nearly killed me --> "Who cares?"

DOWN THE ROAD:

Looks like people are dying of stroke and heart problems likely brought on by the covid shot --> "Who cares?"

Really? What is the probability for the average twenty-something to contract and die of cancer? What are my (or anyone's) chances of getting cancer? Heart disease?
As usual you have missed the point. I'll try to explain it to you on a basic level so even you get it. The thread started with that jackass Newsome. And than the rush of the usual anti vaccine groupies started chiming in hijacking the thread and turned it into the church of the anti vaccine and latter day saints. I couldn't resist to rattle their/your religious cage. You all need to get over yourselves. The whole vax or not to vax crusade has been run into the ground. Get over it...because Who cares...
