In the only election that the Palestinian Authority allowed, which was in 2006, the majority of that population elected Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization by any reasonable definition. A few months ago the PA cancelled scheduled elections. Why? Polls showed that Hamas and its co-terror gang, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, would trounce the PA.
So in answer to your question: Does "all' of the population support the killing? Of course not. Does most of the population support the killing? Absolutely YES.
Palestinian children are taught that the highest honor is to die a "martyr". That is, to kill themselves while they take with them the greatest possible number of "infidels" - men, women, children.
As a Hamas leader said many years ago: "We will be victorious because you Jews value life and we look forward to death".
On the other hand, former Prime Minister Golda Meir summed up the values of the people of Israel in her hopes:
"Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us".
And another: "When peace comes, we will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons".
And another: "We hate war. We do not rejoice in victories. We rejoice when a new kind of cotton is grown, and when strawberries bloom in Israel."
Golda's statements are as true today as they were all those decades ago. Unfortunately the Arabs still hate and murder as much as they did then. And their victims are not only Israelis, but the West and most of all themselves.
How can there ever be peace with such an amoral, decadent society?
