Jordan and Banks were intended to be plants to report all of the proceedings back to the GOP so that they could plan a defense. Pelosi did exactly what she should have done.
McCarthy then withdrew his other three nominees and decided not to participate. He probably had no idea the Committee would move as fast as they have, interview as many people as they have, or compile 130,000 pages of testimony. He's getting ready to get an education, and he will probably regret being such a gutless shill and toady for Trump before this is over.
Jordan and Banks are now claiming the Committee is illegitimate, after being disappointed they couldn't serve on it. Hypocrite much...?
