In an effort to fight the contempt charges he’s facing, Bannon’s legal team reportedly subpoenaed 15 lawmakers and congressional staffers to testify at his trial next month, one of Bannon’s attorneys and copies of the subpoenas obtained by CNN indicated. The subpoenas reportedly target all nine members of the committee, three committee staffers and House general counsel Douglas Letter. Additionally, Bannon reportedly subpoenaed Pelosi and other House Democratic leaders such as Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) and Whip Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC).
This might be more entertaining than the 'committees' upcoming primetime kangaroo show.
Will Pelosi and pals weasel out of giving testimony? If they do, will their supporters think less of them? After all, they constantly tell us that if someone has nothing to hide then they'd be more than willing to testify.

Will you think less of Pelosi and pals if they run from testifying?
If they are called to testify, I would imagine they will go cheerfully, armed for bear. Bannon needs to watch what he wishes for.
Yes, I would be quite disappointed if they refused.
Bannon is doing this to try to prove the Committee is illegitimate, even though it has been court certified as legitimate three times. He doesn't have a prayer.

Pretty much up to the judge to determine validity and substance, why would they have a problem testifying it's not like they are avoiding subpoenas like republicans.
Keep in mind that both the prosecution and the defense have the opportunity to question and why would a judge allow their testimony, the charge is refusal to appear for a subpoena, this isn't a complicated murder trial. What might they add to the trial.

CNN noted there are challenges to compel members of Congress to testify, citing protection of their legislative activity under the Constitution’s Speech and Debate Clause. Therefore, lawmakers and staffers subpoenaed by Bannon’s legal team could possibly file a motion to reject those subpoenas.
They are privileged and they know it.
"it's not like they are avoiding subpoenas like republicans"
How many subpoenas has Pelosi and others attached to the committee been served with so far in this matter?
Bannon is simply an opportunist money maker who ran trumps 2016 campaign on one divisive issue after another and put gasoline on the country's divisions
When you have nothing to hide, there is no reason to hide.
If you are telling the truth, there is no need to hide from it.
It’s quite simple, if you are being truthful. If I were starring in the clown show with nothing to hide or cover up, I’d be in court 2 hours early with bells and whistles on just to say “told you so”.
