How do you groom someone to be a certain identity. Were heterosexuals groomed to be who they identify as. We were just all born the way we are.
Really. Why would a teacher pester a little boy that he was really born to be a girl when he repeatedly protests, "I'm a boy and will never want to be a girl". If it really happens anyway, I would certainly expect the boy's parents as soon as they learn of what's going on to go to the school and raise hell over it.
If this is a serious question then it doesn't deserve an answer...I don't try to reason with people this obtuse.
These children are being coerced...plain and simple...anyone that refuses to see this is evil.
Then please provide proof that school teachers are actually trying to force boys to become girls against their wills? If so, provide more proof that parents are actually encouraging it, even if their boys insist they are boys, not girls. The same goes to little girls who say they don't want to become something gross and icky, like boys.
Not a word in the article about grooming. The increase is simply due to the kids feeling safe enough to reveal their orientation. The percentage of youth identifying as transgender quoted is well within the normal range.
The website is located in Armenia, and exists solely by plagiarizing articles word for word and publishing them with their ad codes to generate revenue.
The kids, in other words, are more honest than both the website and the title of this thread. May they find their own peace.

Thank you. I know and work with too many trans people to believe there is any sort of “grooming” or coercion going on here. What is happening is an atmosphere being provided where the students are not afraid to admit who they are because of fears of being attacked.
Our sexual orientation is hard wired into us at birth. You cannot change it. There are physically what appear to be two sexes, but in reality your sexuality is somewhere along a scale. There are heterosexuals, homosexuals, and bisexuals (who eventually pick a mate who may be either when they decide to settle down). They are the simple ones. Transgender is more complicated, but every bit as legitimate. We are just now beginning to understand it because there is less repression and less fear of coming out of the closet because of that. As people have pointed out, we are a long way from the time just a few years ago when the only options for a transgender person were silent desperation and suicide.
I personally am glad to see it. The best sound man I know is trans, as well as the best makeup artist, and I am thankful they are around to contribute what they know and do to our film projects. I look forward to working with them again as frequently as possible.

Grooming? As in "training" kids to think they're brain gender and anatomic sex aren't congruent?
It's far, FAR more likely that past severe stigma and general disrespect of transgenders artificially suppressed the true expressions of the true personhoods of TG/TS people. Thus, our previous estimates of the % of TG/TS likewise we underestimated. Removing the stigma and general disrespect is simply letting us know the natural extent or degree of TG/TS. It's not that hard to grasp. If you remove a lot of truly pointless regulatory burdens on business and finance, then business and financial activity increases to its natural levels. Same thing with removing unjustifed social stigma (i.e. a "cultural bureaucracy" of pointless social rules and ways of sizing up people's worth). So instead of 'grooming' it's simply allowing people to be their true selves, which naturally will seem 'unnatural' to people accustomed to the artificial suppression of TS/TG.

Of course we have to protect the kids and that includes locking the doors at schools to keep bad people from getting in. We lock up our homes. We lock up our cars. We lock up our valuables. So why is it that a certain party in this country refuses to lock up the criminals, the crazies and the Back Door to America that some refer to as The Border?
Oh well, let the kids, at young and younger ages question who they are and question their very Gender and we are going to soon be having some very seriously screwed up young adults.
Being Transgendered is the latest "fad" so kids are flocking to it.
It is Grooming when teachers introduce the kids to alternative life styles and then tell them not to tell their parents.
These kids are going to grow up confused and unsure of the future but you know who can help them with everything they need? The democrats and all they have to do is vote.

I see very few "old fogeys on a message board" worried about an adult that chooses to present, act, or be what they want. They are generally VERY concerned about allowing, encouraging, and pushing children to do so though.

There was a time where all credit was under the name Mrs. Joe Smith or Mrs. John Whatever. We didn’t get to vote. Many things women were subjected to and kept from. And pulling back our rights in Roe Vs Wade is imminent. Don’t minimize women’s struggles. The LBGTQ+ going through the same problems trying to be treated as equals. Some really think Freedom is only for them. You are born who you are, and we have a right to choose who we want to be.

You are still trying to mándate your view into someone’s else’s very personal life. I know some trans as well as gays etc and feeling free to who they want to be is awesome. Why should they hide for your convenience. We taught our kids n grands to be the best they can be. Period. Yes accept themselves. Can you accept What that may be? I don’t think so, and why we have so much suicide with young people. If it’s a trend - it will pass and if it’s not. So what ??!
