How the hell could anyone vote yes? I can at least understand if someone is against abortions, but birth control?! Sex is definitely not for just producing children. Extremists from both sides need psychiatric help.

That Catholic Church position has become the de facto position for all Pro Life people and they say birth control is sinful. In the 1960s Conservatives feared JFK would be the Pope's puppet, today Conservatives allow the Catholic Church more control over the US govt than it has in Ireland.

Yeah, I have heard that...but I just don't understand why. I've never been religious, so I don't see the logic in it. Is sex supposed to be some dirty act if it isn't for the sole purpose of reproducing?

The Catholic church doesn’t believe in contraceptives.
If Catholics need psychiatric help, then you live in the wrong country. Because this one loves their Jesus and you would have better luck watching life fly before folks drop Jesus.
That is not their concern...they want women to remain abstinent, (sleeping around or bed hopping is offensive to God after all).
I wouldnt be surprised if we saw scarlet letters making a come back too.
We will just have to wait and see if citizens TOLERATE this or not, I will say though, if we see a lot of compliance and obedience with these new changes, it speaks loudly about public opinion today!

"I'm just a bill...but I'm gonna be a law one day! Conjunction Junction...what's your function? The Preamble done to music. Helped me memorize it for my 5th grade US history. School House Rock was great. And yeah....a lot of folks of voting age could do with a few commercial breaks that re run it.
All these decades later I can still remember the exact melody of the Preamble song. Hell I still use it to remember the Preamble. Even with the alphabet I find my mind still works musically with it. Some things just tend to stick.
