Air Canada using police mistakenly rounded up and kicked off over 20 passengers off a plane they thought or assumed were unmasked at the Montreal airport.
Shocking and kinda sad just how quickly so called 'liberal democracies' like Canada, Australia and NZ descended into authoritarian regimes based on a poorly managed public health issue. It certainly wasn't all unicorns farting rainbows here in the US and if we didn't have a constitution and the 2nd amendment our own leaders wouldn't have hesitated to take the same path.
A lesson for us! Our republic and our freedoms are more fragile than we think!

It's very sad. Those countries are filled with sheeple whose head of state is an inbred monarch in a distant country. People take America for granted.
Keep in mind that mask mandates have been lifted for quite some time in Canada on the ground because they are controlled by the Provinces and cities. So no masks are required for restaurants, malls, theatres etc. Air Travel is one of the domains controlled by the Federal Government, but in the vast majority of places Canada is maskless except in health environments like hospitals and health clinics. If you visited here tomorrow, walking around you wouldn't feel any differently than in the U.S.
As a matter of fact, even during the depths of the pandemic, the Federal Government did not have much say over public health policies in Canada as again, they are decentralized on a Provincial level.

Doesn't matter to these fools.
They blame Trudeau for everything with NO understanding of what powers a PM in a minority government has.
It's too much to ask them to actually learn anything.
