As we have just been reminded...SCOTUS rulings can be overturned.

Its time to revisit many more past rulings...like:

-Obamacare its been revisited 3x, & upheld, but since the mandate penalty tax is now gone, that nullifies the law. Roberts only ruled it constitutional due to it being a tax...which its not.

-Social Security https://www.ssa.gov/history/court.html It was deemed unconstitutional for months until Roosevelt threatened to pack the court, & bullied the SCOTUS to allow it.

-Federal Withholding - the feds have a constitutional right to tax, but not to deduct it from each paycheck.

There are many more past rulings that could easily be overturned, so I hope this is just the beginning. Fed overreach is costing us all too much, & its unsustainable. Gov't now takes ~50% of GDP & climbing, whereas in 1930 it took just 10%. The chart below depicts big gov't overreach, & its costs:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Govern...ending_GDP.png

*This chart is through 2018 and doesn't include Trillions in stimulus Trump & Biden added.

Gov't expanded their role unconstitutionally, & the only peaceful & legal ways to reverse this is through the SCOTUS, and/or a Convention of States. It should be obvious to us all that DC isn't going to do it willingly. Both parties are on the same team, & we are their opponents, when it comes to spending. We must stop losig to them.

Roberts also announced that the Supreme Court's job is to do whatever Congress wanted if at all possible. It was the most ridiculous statement I've heard from the Supremes (or one of them) in a long time.

Also because FDR kept insisting that "It was simply a tax", which it wasn't. Similar to misstatements on Obamacare.

I heartily agree.

West Coast Hotel v. Parrish (1937), where the USSC ruled 5-4 that a state had the power to overrule a contract between two agreeing parties, and impose its own laws instead providing a different "contract". This granting of new "powers" to a govt, was the springboard that allowed government to explode, doubling and tripling in size regularly ever since.

US v. Miller (1939), a gun-control case where the defense didn't even show up for the trial. The prosecution (government lawyers) read a series of lies into the record, which the justices rubber-stamped into an Opinion. Their Opinion is loaded with mewling language like "it is not within judicial notice that...", meaning "Nobody was here to point out why the Prosecution's statement was false, so we're ruling it's true out of thin air." The big-govt advocates have been careful to keep any case that might re-examine that 1939 case, out of the courts. Time for that to change.

....just to mention a few.

Others would include hundreds of cases that violate the 10th amendment's statement that the Fed govt could only have the powers listed in the Constitution and was forbidden all others, but the States and the people could still exercise them if they wanted.

There is SO much garbage to be cleaned up. Our USSC has their work cut out for them for the next 30+ years.

Affirmative action and ‘disparate impact’ nonsense will be going bye bye as well. Citizenship for anchor babies should also go.

I agree. It's time to get back to normalcy in this country.

As Reagan said, "It's morning in America."

If you want to see an uproar, you take away social security.

Ban states allowing illegal immigrants driver licenses, welfare and other benefits, voting rights, whatever. Immigration is fed jurisdiction. Protect the borders.
Ban allowing states to crap on the constitution, especially using tax outer money to fund this garbage.

Social Security has been flawed since its inception, as people who did not pay into it were receiving money. It should be ended, and the money everyone put in to it returned to them. Not to mention, social security has a -2% return on investment. You are better off putting that money in a savings account...

Never happen. If you want to lose the entire voting block of seniors, just try it.

Considering that my idea would give more money to senior citizens, I would like to...
