Oh, so you are saying SCOTUS is bipartisan and their job is to interpret the US Constitution instead of following strictly by the party line?

Oh wow!

Don't think for a moment the Country Club GOP is against illegal immigration, just because Trump was against illegal immigration. There are many reasons the establishment GOP hated Trump and wanted him gone as much as the Democrats did.
I agree with your post. I think the GOP is actually in cahoots with the open borders pro illegal agenda, they just aren't so obvious with it like dems are. I think there is an agenda to radically change this country i honestly don't know what these people really want in regards to being open borders, some say it's to change the demographics of this country but who really knows?? These open borders people think they are gaining something by being open borders. There's a hidden agenda at play here IMO.

There is still much work to do with the court. But we really should be updating our immigration laws through Congress with specific penalties levied against executives personally who refuse to enforce the laws.

If we were enforcing our immigration laws, that kind of thing would be limited. It actually happens all the time, illegals dying in vehicles or in the desert, but now that they are pushing for amnesty/citizenship, it is in the news!

No, wealthy people who want us to subsidize their business by providing emergency medical through Medicaid, and the full array of public assistance to their children, that way they can work for lesser wages.
Plus, Braindead Biden was ignoring the rule anyway, and doing as his handlers wanted. A POTUS does not have to go by the "guidance" given by the SC, and Biden didn't.

And, Biden was ignoring it anyway! The goal is to break the economy, and these 3rd world economic illegal aliens may just be the "ticket"!

The upside of this is that it should help turn both the Senate and the House in the mid-term election. Add the price of gas, which always has dropped during the summer before an election, and it did not.............Good-bye Dems!

They didn't have a filibuster proof majority in the Senate during that period.

Both parties share the blame! There's enough common ground to pass legislation but the cowards we have in congress are only concerned with their #1 issue which is getting re-elected! Term limits solve that problem!

Ever heard ot a filibuster proof majority? There wasn't one in congress during those times. What do you mean that Trump did nothing to curb illegal immigration? He initiated the "wait in Mexico" policy. He finished half of the wall in spite of the Democrats fighting him all the way. He re-instated the workplace raids that Obama did away with and the list goes on and on. Were you living in a cave during that time?

Codify strict illegal immigration laws? What does that mean? We already had immigration laws in place.
