God, yes.
I've heard it said that "it's always darkest before dawn". Right now, we're pitch black, and there's no light at the end of the tunnel, it seems.
Now more than ever, we need to do our best to remain positive despite what's happening around us. This, too, shall pass.

Mean? Can't say I have. Really incredibly dumb tweets? Oh yeah!

How about this one blaming gas station owners for the price of a gallon of gas! Even Bezos had to call out his stupidity.

Quote:
My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of war and global peril.

Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you’re paying for the product. And do it now.

Also what's up with his "war and global peril" comment without any context, LOL.

Libertarians should love this. Supply chains and wars result in shortages and prices go up. People are struggling and Biden is doing nothing. This is what libertarians want, right? No government interfering.

Biden has really done less than Trump did.

I’m amazed they don’t love him.

Nothing that most people don't already know, with their own purchases. Biden is as much of a disaster for this nation as Carter was. Worse actually-Carter might have been incompetent, but he at least loved this country and tried. Everything Biden does appears to be aimed at making things worse for Americans.
The average family has lost "income" or purchasing ability? Weird wording!

Mine's about $400k and I retired last August. I made nearly 40% the last year of Trump's presidency, and some on that momentum the first few months of Biden's. But everything I made under Biden is long gone as is a fair share of what I made in Trump's last year. Biden took a booming economy and drove it in the ditch in just a few months.

Um-both. They have lost purchasing ability obviously with inflation. But worse, real-world wages are down 3.3%-inflation has been more than double the rate of increase in wages.

Well if it makes you feel better, just remember that $100,000 you lost in todays money isn’t as much as it used to be.

The spread will worsen, btw, as corps will revert to normal col increases, while inflation will stay sky high a long time. PPI is still more than CPI, and that relationship inevitably inverts to compensate the producers for their lost income due to inflation.

Yep. American workers and retirees have lost 16% (on average) in their IRAs/401(k)s since the beginning of the year. That's a big chunk, especially for those who are close to retirement age or are already retired.

You know I really dislike Biden and the left who have made things really worse but it was republicans and Trump who added two trillion to the debt with the COVID relief.

Although at that time they would have been called heartless if they had not but still.....
