I read the Politico Playbooks every day. This is standard for Old Joe.
Sometimes he doesn’t get the briefing until 11:30 & Kamala is rarely invited.

I have to imagine the briefing goes something like this:

-Well stocked on ice cream today

-Avoid bicycles

-Hunter needs some more money

-We'll have the questions for the next press conference prepared for you 7 days in advance so you can practice reading the answers

-Go take a nap

There’s obviously a supplemental schedule that includes time blocked off for bowel movements and/or diaper changes and showering with relatives.
