With all his baggage and constant whining about 2020 will his candidacy help or hurt the Republican party in 2024 if he chooses to run again?

I think he's the only Republican who could run and still be beaten by Joe Biden. They should look at other options to serve the American people rather than serve Trump's ego.

while his policies benefited the country the most, pre-plandemic every indicator from jobs to savings to earnings to clean air/water was at 'best ever' levels, he is polarizing and his run would greenlight the MSM for another 2 years of their crap. the problem with 24x7 news services is that also allows 24x7 completely made up stuff.

I feel like it is literally dangerous for the country to have another Trump vs Biden in 2024. I feel like many Americans would just give up on both parties and may push people to look for alternative ways to influence the government of which many would not be considered positive.

If Democrats or Republicans run an alternative candidate while the other runs the same person (Biden vs new guy or Trump vs new guy) it's almost a guaranteed win for the new guy regardless of party.

Agree.

The Republican bench is deep.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the poll results at this point.

Anyone besides Trump at this point can beat Biden. I hear pence wants to run he would prob be a much better safe choice if Desnatis doesn't jump in.

Pence is the GOP's John Kerry, absolute charisma vacuum. I wonder if he'd be backed by Trump loyalists too? If DeSantis runs I think he takes it by a landslide.

I think Democrats have a bigger problem than the GOP in the next presidential election. Biden has been an unmitigated disaster and there's no one of any substance behind him.
