It is so refreshing to public officials taking the integrity of our elections seriously! Great job, Governor DeSantis!

“We want to make sure we have laws in place and we want those laws to be enforced,” DeSantis continued before announcing that, through that office and in conjunction with the Attorney General’s office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), “the state of Florida has charged and is in the process of arresting 20 individuals across the state for voter fraud.”

Most of the illegal votes, he said, came from individuals in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade.

The last group caught in Florida for Voter Fraud were some retirees in the Villages retirement community, perhaps we have the same thing here. Not sure if a press conference was needed for 20 people but it is an election year so I guess a press conference for everything should be expected.

You mean a politician held a press conference? Huh. Shocker.

So, we should not care that twenty people illegally voted, because it will not make a "big difference"?

This line of thinking is the reason our country is thirty trillion dollars in debt. "Oh, it is just one hundred million dollars they want to spend. It is not like it is a billion..."

The rule of law should not be beneath anyone, just as every penny of taxpayer money should be scrutinized.

In 2020, we had elections won (and lost) by 6 votes... so, yes, 20 IS a big deal.

This is correct, as Iowa's Second Congressional District was decided by six votes.

A bit theatrical I'd say, but still I appreciate the effort.
