SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis slammed President Joe Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci during a rally in Central Florida on Wednesday.
DeSantis was in Seminole County to campaign with Sen. Marco Rubio during what the Republican Party calls the “Keep Florida Free” tour.
During his speech, DeSantis blasted lockdowns after the COVID-19 Pandemic. “We were the ones who stood on the wall, more than any other state, to say we are not going to be locking people down, and we’re going to be lifting people up,” said DeSantis.
DeSantis then launched into Fauci, who announced on Tuesday that he is retiring in December.

Btw, when I bumped into him in a hallway, I had to look down and it was unbelievable how short this guy is, hilarious that he's calling anyone "little"
Let us not forget that he killed many Floridians during the delta wave by spreading misinformation about corona.

He's taken a page out of Trump's playbook. Yes, it's pathetic but this is what his supporters want to hear....demeaning others.
Fauci is not innocent. He certainly lied, even if he thought it was in the name of good. He certainly fudged details about COVID, masking, and the vaccines. He went to great lengths to stifle discussions on the origins of COVID. He made himself a highly controversial figure and it doesn't help that he appeared rather egoistical at times, claiming that criticism of him were criticism against "science." He certainly strongly aligned himself in a certain political direction and was outspoken in his criticism of people who disagreed with him.
This is a polite, even-handed overview of Fauci's legacy by a Hopkins professor and public policy researcher.
