In terms of energy, there is a crisis, so price caps are needed, and they will stop energy companies making excessive profits out of other peoples misery.
As for fracking shale gas, it will allow countries to buy some time whilst they change their energy mix and build nuclear plants. Fracking is no worse than bringing coal fired power stations back on line.

In terms of Defence policy, Britain needs to rebuild it's army, in order that it can bring back the mass needed to help defend Europe, whilst securing naval routes is also important, through the growth of our naval ans submarine fleet. At the same time Britain is investing in cyber, AI and other technologies, as well as space.

In terms of deregulation, the doing away with EU regulations such as Markets in financial instruments directive (MiFID), would increase the competitiveness of the UK Finance Industry, and Britain now needs to bring in it's own regulations in numerous areas, however this will not be in regard to safety standards or food standards.
