It’s crazy how emboldened these criminals have become. I mean to pull this in the middle of the day in the middle of Manhattan with a bunch of people around.

Why would any sane rational person choose to live in NYC? At this point, even money couldn't sway me to step foot in that place.

Buncha unarmed people who are powerless to stop it. And no police to be found of course. Things like this happen for a reason. Because it's allowed to happen.

"This" is the biggest threat to America,..not some red hat.

This Culture of crime that gets coddled and taboo to get tough on is what Biden, Adams, Hochul all enable by their soft or diverting language.

This is Wild. This should make bigger news. This is what people should march against, not for some woman who assaulted a cop mid-arrest and got laid out.

These politicians are so full of it when they try to steer the conversation to the evil Pubs.
Whatever, Pubs bad. But on the street , people are Not dealing with Maga dudes shooting, mugging, racing, and looting.

Shameful gaslighting.

Must spread rep. We moved to the 'burbs seven years ago because I put one kid through the NYC public school system, and didn't want to have to do it three more times. Every now and then I thought I missed the city. So glad we're not there now. Between Covid restrictions, increasing crime, inflation (and associated high COL)... no thanks.

Because the criminals know that the sentiment of NYC leaders is that they don't like the police and are lax on the criminals.

No different than those shop lifters that fill up their carts and just walk out of the store not caring if anyone knows or sees them because no one will stop them.

If people intent on doing crime know nothing will be done that's basically giving them card blanche

This incident wasn't criminal coddling.

One criminal saw another criminal getting away after robbing a bank and thought he could take that money for himself.
So he went after it and succeeded.

That doesn't happen often enough to warrant marching in the streets in protest.

This is the result of the coddling. You said it yourself, this stemmed from a Bank heist. This is just an evolution of that crime. The more brazen they get the more escalated it manifests on the streets in broad daylight amongst normal civilians.

Yes let’s just allow this on our streets because it doesn’t happen “too often”.

If there was ever a need for the face palm emoji the above post is that.

lol..robbers robbing other robbers in broad daylight .... Sure it's due to NYC's soft on crime stance.
One incident..sure. But take a look at what is happening DAILY in NYC.

People are afraid to take the subway from the incidents of being pushed off the platform.
