Yes, it's true. California has gone full environ MENTAL.

Not only are they going to dictate the type of car one can buy and the type of stove one can use in their own home, now they are also saying that gas generators are no good!

Ian shows how ridiculous this is.

How are the people of California allowing themselves to be nannied like this? It literally could cost someone their life!

Are they banning people from bringing them in? This is what I have said in other threads once they ban alternative methods of producing energy they have you hooked. Watch for them to ba; us8ng solar panels unless you are feeding the grid. Out of curiosity what is your source for this?

Oh jeez. I wonder how that will impact the availability for the rest of us, as California is such a large market, that it may cause a situation where it will not be profitable enough for companies to continue to manufacture gas generators for everyone else. Hopefully that’s not the case!

I say let them go 100% gas free. Then we can watch and see how it works out.

If they fail, then the rest of the country won't move forward.

If they have a massive Earthquake knocking out power, after banning gas generators, they'll publicly hang Newsom in Union Square in San Fran.

i guess this will increase demand for battery generators which do not require any fossil fuels to manufacture or distribute. they just magically appear!

Traditionally, in state government policy, California gets sick and we all take the cure, whether we need it or not. A lot of questionable policies originated there or in response to a California problem and smaller states follow suit. We forget that there are 40 million people living there and policy needs or priorities might differ. Recently, they have gone way out in front on gas powered cars and other things. Maybe that is right for them, but I’m a liberal skeptic. That is asking for a reset by the voters or by clear thinking legislators. I think 2028 is pretty far out in the future and things might moderate by then.

They banned selling them beginning January 1 2028 it seems. Guess you had better get it now. Otherwise the solution is called Nevada. You can bring them in.

Wow California is really trying to screw people coming and going. This is what happens when you have a one party state. Any crazy idea they come up with can become a law. There are no real checks and balances.
