Face the Nation host denied that Harris said it and argued with Senator Rick Scott about it. Losers and liars.
They have destroyed Sunday morning programming on CBS. It’s so disappointing because I really used to enjoy CBS Sunday Morning back when they avoided partisan politics and mostly ran human interest stories.
And Face the Nation is just another hour of MSNBC except more leftist.
Vice President Harris was asked by a reporter Saturday evening at the 51st annual Phoenix Awards, a dinner hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation
Harris, despite looking directly at the reporter, did not respond to the question and walked away with a security detail
What she should have said is along the lines of...
We need to ensure poorer neighborhoods and those predominantly POC get the same level of support as the more expensive and predominantly white. Everyone affected need the country's support regardless of their demographic.
Skin color should have no bearing. Everyone is deserving of help.

No. What she should have done was leave race completely out of it. Period. Hurricanes don’t give a crap about skin color or ethnicity.

What to expect from someone who worked her way all the up to the top on her knees. This is why I'm not surprised in the least. I actually expected this type of "leadership" from Brandon & Kamelatoe beforehand and voted accordingly.

Yeah, I agree.
I can't believe it even has to be said out loud.
MLK must be rolling in his grave. This isn't the vision he had. Putting whites at the back of the line wasn't part of making things right for all of us.
“It is our lowest income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions and impacted by issues that are not of their own making,” Harris claimed. “And so we have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity, understanding not everyone starts out at the same place.”
She added, “And if we want people to be in an equal place, sometimes we have to take into account those disparities and do that work.”

Now, why would "communities of color" be "most impacted". She's implying that all of those who are "people of color" have the least resources to rebuild their lives. That is very racist.
Did white people create the hurricane and the destruction? That's racist.
It's only "communities of color" who need help? That's racist.
Dems calling people "people of color" or "communities of color" is nothing more than saying "colored people". That's bigoted.
I thought we were past that.
Hurricanes don't discriminate, but the Democrats sure do, because they are unapologetic racists...not towards whites only, but especially towards "people of color".
You want "equity"? Then treat everyone the same. Base it on destruction not a person's skin color.
