I've noticed the media is trying to play along by acting shocked and surprised by all the bad economic data that just keeps coming in, not just in the USA, but around the world. It looks like the media is playing along with Biden's lame attempt to fool the people into believing we aren't really in a recession as we speak. But in my world, which is called reality, a recession is and always was 2 negative quarters of GDP growth. I don't think we need another one to know, we are already in a recession. And actually, we have been late for a recession, as they usually happen every 8 to 10 years at the very least.

Well if recession rears it's head then Congress can just pass a "Recession Removal" spending bill

Exactly! Time for another "stimulus" package.

Packed with allocations to pay for gender surgeries , funding kindergarten drag twerking shows, and budget for fighting White Supremacy no doubt!

When this administration says there will be no recession, expect a depression.

In all seriousness, they will probably want to send money to certain demographics to help weather inflation while the rest of us drown.
