I'm ecstatic about the outcome of these elections thus far. Why? For me, most politics are local. The closest city to where I live, my county, & my state elections matter most to me by far, & they were a Red wave. I chose my area well.

I don't care about most national issues...they just don't impact me much. Howso?

I'm too old for abortion to matter, I don't live near gangbangers, failed inner-city schools, or homeless drug addicts. Inflation doesn't impact me as much as 95% of other Americans, & my area is not being overrun by illegals. I can avoid more taxes than most, & whatever they do to SS or Medicare doesn't matter much to me..I don't need either.

I suppose a war could impact me. Even the collapse of the Dollar is negligible, because I'm debt free, & asset heavy...not much paper.

I'm concerned how these national issues impact the less fortunate, but until they start voting en masse for their own best interest, I can't help them. They have been improving in this regard, so that's a good thing.

The Libs don't seem to care about failed urban schools, & rampant crime, late term abortions, homeless drug addicts, decaying major cities, inflation, recession, bubbles, lack of affordable housing, so I'll just follow their lead, & not lose sleep over it.

In my local Red bubble, all is fine & dandy.

It is mostly local until the federal government accounts for 75% of government spending and 75% of my tax dollars go to some corrupt faceless bureaucracy in Washington DC.

The federal government should be no more than 20% of all government spending and all government spending combined should never exceed 10% of GDP.

I don't care much for what happened outside of Florida and boy I could not be happier about DeSantis embarrassing Crist.

Federally, I would be satisfied with the democrats losing the House. Without super majorities, republicans would not be able to get anything done aside from blocking Biden's leftist agenda. No sure that will even happen at this point though.

I was thinking about this yesterday and came to the conclusion that it would be beneficial for Republicans to support Democrat issues. The issues that Democrats support hurt themselves and benefit Republicans, so why are we (Republicans) fighting them? Consider the following:

-Most abortions kill babies whose parents are liberals, poor, minorities, etc., so it hurts Democrats more than Republicans, so why are Republicans fighting them over this?

-Most crime harms inner cities, liberals, poor, minorities, etc., so it hurts Democrats more than Republicans, so why are Republicans fighting over defunding police? It is not the conservative suburbs and rural areas that are considering defunding.

-Most drug abuse is with liberals, poor, minorities, so....?

-Most bad schools are in liberal, poor, minority areas, so...?

-The porn books in schools and drag queen shows are in urban public school, so why should parents who home school or send their kids to private schools care if Democrats want their kids to be deviants and suicidal?

-Inflation, recession, depression, etc. has a greater effect on poor who vote Democrat, so why should wealthier Republicans who can withstand recessions care about them?

-Illegal immigrants tend to go to big liberal cities and cause crime there and steal jobs from liberals there, so...?

-"Gun Free" inner cities are killing off liberals, poor, minorities, so...?

Yes there is some collateral damage that would hurt Republicans, but there is far more damage to Democrats. Why are Republicans wasting their time trying to help people who are willing to hurt themselves? Let the Democrats destroy themselves.

Please show me where repugs have fixed any of this, especially Fl.

You're a generous man.

When greater than 0% of my earnings and/or assets goes to taxes, I care deeply how it's being poorly spent.

i feel the same way. just a few days ago, i was driving down a country road in my town and passed an old dilapidated barn and some cows and horses. i asked my spouse “do you think they have roving gang bangers in these parts”? we listened for any signs of loud bass coming from some tinted out vehicle…but nope, complete silence except for the birdies. liberals love being around all sorts of people. the closer the better. enjoy your high density paradises, i will stick to the country.

Ask the people of Minnesota, what happened to their country land.

This liberal and her liberal friends love living in the sticks. I'd HATE living in a city.
