America has spoken.

Quote:
At least 57 per cent of Americans think Donald Trump running for the White House in 2024 is a bad idea, just a week after he announced his intentions of returning to the office.

Nearly six in 10 Americans said Mr Trump's election bid is a bad thing, while just 34 per cent in favour of his decision, according to a new poll conducted by Quinnipiac University.

Mr Trump, the twice-impeached former president who tried to overturn the results of the 2020 election, launched his campaign last Tuesday to try to return to the White House for a second time.

No..I'd say the media has spoken and we all know which side the media is on.

Exactly. The voters decide, not the media

Trump is the only guy Biden can beat. The guy is a gift for the Democrats.

I saw this poll and the first thing I thought was which one of the DNC spokespeople would end up posting this...

I can't say that I disagree with the poll. As if he runs and is elected, we will get another 4 years of endless investigations on Trump with each one starting with "Now we got him". Who knows, he may be the first quadruple-impeached President. Wait..who am I kidding...he will be the subject of endless investigations regardless of if he runs.

However, while I see how it could be seen as a bad thing if Trump runs...for the Democrats. A worse thing would be to keep the current Body-In-Chief for another term.

He’s not running. All he did was make the announcement. No rallies, no speeches, no tweets, not but half his family present at the announcement, Big Donors running the other way - nothing. Not even a campaign manager.

Fake campaign.

I think he needs to run for presidency. That way, right up until the primaries, the left wing character assassination team will be kept occupied while the real candidate gets on with campaigning. Then the they won't have enough time to effectively character assassinate the actual candidate.

I also think that Biden should step down and let Kamala Harris take over the presidency. Sure, things will get worse - much worse but then even the Dems will vote the Dems out. So yeah, Kamala to take over the presidency and Trump to run for presidency. Perfect plan.
