Sure, he shouldn't have to resort to stealing, but I would hardly characterize a couple of hundred thousand per year as "plenty of money" in the DC area. Frankly, with a BS in mechanical engineering and an MS from MIT, he could be making a lot more money in private industry.

None of which changes the fact that he's a thief.
He is an SES? Doubtful, but please provide your reference for this.

Agreed, he is a thief.

"a woman's mind" ehh? I'd love to see that.
from Stanford, if that works for you. https://stanmed.stanford.edu/how-men...are-different/

there's also hormonal differences that affect behavior, emotions, thinking processes, etc between men and women, generally.

He can always go on tour as "The Non-binary & in drag The King and I" to universities across the entire nation. They love that twisted type of garbage and would pay big stupid dollar for it to be on display at their university for all their students. It would be keeping with the agenda/narrative.

I can accept that for that level of crime.

We have enough cases of guys getting caught with illegal guns or smacking someone in the head with a hammer and getting a similar sentence.

This case doesn't need jail time.

Agree.

He will likely never work for the government again and this was a "non-violent" crime. Weird, but non-violent.

However, while that sentence may be considered light, there is still the case in Minneapolis still pending and a new investigation into that Huston designer's clothes. Those could be a bit more troublesome.

so he stole over $3000.....but was charged with less than $1200.....but the court order him to pay $3,670 to the victim

....admitting it was a felony

Brinton was facing misdemeanor theft charges, which amount to less than $1,200 in stolen items. They had originally faced a felony theft charge since police said the amount stolen was $3,670.

According to officials, the suitcase was worth $320 and was from the 'Away' brand.

Inside the luggage was more than $3,000 in stolen items including jewelry, makeup, contact lenses, and clothing, documents said.

............was ordered to pay $3,670 to the victim
