The Democrat voters swooned over Obama, electing him in huge numbers, even though he was opposed to illegal immigration, campaigned on building a wall, and campaigned on marriage being between one man and one woman. It only took these same voters, and Obama two years to do a 180 flip, and suddenly demonize anyone who held his prior views.
Just goes to prove how hypocritical Democrats really are.
Maybe because the other party is just as bad when it comes to leaving everyone alone?

Wants to take away your freedom to choose and instead dictate if you can seek an abortion?
Is now talking about taking away the right to marry the partner of your choice?
Wants to ban certain books from public libraries?
Likes to shove their religion down our throats?
No one should have the choice of killing unborn babies out of convenience. It's immoral by any sensible standards.
Who are these Republicans in congress that are taking away the so-called right to marry the same sex? It's just a traditional marriage that some mainstream Americans and congressmen object to but a civil union is ok.
Yet liberals tore down statues of historical figures and have also banned books they didn't like.
What Republicans in congress are shoving religion down our throats whereby it affects those who are non-believers? Religion is a choice and a right or don't you believe in the Constitution?
As a former Democrat and Liberal, I remember when Liberals were against certain things.
Liberals were against the Government using its agencies to spy on its citizens. That's why we had a major issue with Bush.
Liberals were against the Government using its agencies to go after its political opponents.
Liberals were against the Government trying to control the news flow and the flow of information.
Liberals were against the Government using its power to try to control what people can and cannot say or hear.
Why has the left abandoned what they once stood for?
Why is the left now supporting and/or defending the very things they once stood against?
When was the turning point?
Why did they change?
What is their end goal?
How come they cannot see the danger in what they are supporting?
People who cannot see it are not true liberals. There is a reason why so many long time democrats left the party and it's why the party has to rely on immigrants that don't know any better to keep their numbers up.
Remember when Conservatives were against certain things.
Conservatives were against being sore losers after election losses, yet look how they acted after Trump lost.
Conservatives were against Big Government, funny how that worked out in relation to Abortion.
Conservatives were against Government legislation being used against schools, look what's happening now.
Conservatives were against the Government using its agencies to go after its political opponents, now they're going after Hunter the same way.
Conservatives were against people being fired due to having no Covid-19 vaccines, now look how much their celebrating people being fired in school boards and elsewhere.
Conservatives were against censorship such as when several controversial Dr. Seuss books were taken out of print, now there's thousands of book banning's due to Conservatives.
Conservatives were against the Government using its power to try to control what people can and cannot say or hear. yet look what happened with the CEO of Disney this year
Conservatives were against Liberals not standing with Israel, now you have conservatives just fine with Trump having dinner with anti-Semitics Ye and Nick Fuentes.

By "shoved down people's throats", you mean like if a TV show has a character that is gay? If the same show has a heterosexual couple, do you consider that "shoving heterosexuality down people's throats"? If not, why not?
