In the anti-vaxx age I wonder about people who trust the government to kill you but don't trust the government to keep you alive.

In the first place there are many states in which felons can't vote but for those who can, a poll of 8,000 convicted felons was conducted and found the following:
2020 Election:
White Felons: Trump 45% don't know/wouldn't vote 25% Sanders 10% Biden 7%
Non-white felons: Trump 19% don't know/wouldn't vote 29% Sanders 16% Biden 13%

Democrat Oregon Governor Commutes All Death Sentences

What a dirtbag.

So much for the victims' families. They've already been through so much and now some WOKE democrat governor on her way out of office pulls this stunt.

For many it is a much better life then on the outside.
"3 hots and cot", TV, gyms, basketball hoops, libraries better then some law firms, NO work, etc.
You should tour a few prisons before you post something like that...

I dunno how people hear "prison is better than being free in America" and their only response is "we have to make prison even worse!"

This is one of those topics on which I lean towards the left. I'm not a fan of the death penalty for a couple of reasons. First, death is permanent and our criminal justice system is flawed. Second, it smacks of retribution as opposed to simply protecting the public - which seems a bit barbaric. Third, from a moral standpoint, I feel like we should avoid the deliberate taking of a human life if at all possible.

Wouldn't totalitarians prefer people to be sentence to death?

Amazing. Some leftists will support unfettered abortion, but oppose killing horrific criminals. That’s some twisted evil right there.

Many Christians do not support death sentences based on their faith. It isn't their place to take a life.

So all the Christians you do not support women having abortions because it is taking a life, don't all agree death sentences are taking a life?

But what if that person on death roll was innocent. What if that death roll person was put there by the evil Government which said that person did something which they didn't do. What then?
