Jerry Nadler is still on the Judiciary Committee -- he's just no longer chairman. Jim Jordan is now chairman and Nadler is the ranking member.

That isn't democracy, that is right wing fascisim.

No committee assignments should be changed without serious wrong doing or promotion.

These acts by the republican extremists are reprehensible.
This is not political revenge. It is removing incompetent, extremists from important committees. It is simply amazing that someone feeding information to a CHINESE SPY even remained a congressman, let alone entrusted with critical information.

Looking at the people that are being removed, one has to laugh at the irony in talking about "republican extremist".

Did you have such an objection when the Democrats did the same thing in the previous Congress?

The rationale behind the planned removals are very solid.

Schiff is a known liar, who pushed discredited and laughable claims to subvert the political process.

Swalwell absolutely would not get a security clearance on the outside; even if one believes that he didn't do anything wrong, no agency would grant him a security clearance if he was a private citizen due to his close and continuing contact with a Chinese spy. I see no reason to entrust such a person with some of our nation's most closely held secrets.

That brings me to Omar. Condemned by her own party for her antisemitism, she is hardly the poster child to serve on the foreign relations committee of a political body/nation that has strong ties with Israel and is a welcoming place to people of all faiths, although she'd fit right in on some UN panel.

You didn't seem to be all that opposed to it before this last election, did you?

Not just incompetent, but reckless with classified information.

Swalwell and Schiff have zero business on the intelligence committee.

They are a security threat.

I think Omar is being cut out of foreign affairs for her anti-semitism, much like MTG was for her extreme comments, but MTG was banned from all committees.

So the Republicans are not being as extreme as the Democrats were.

Agreed. We need more than just Republicans and Democrats.

Wish how it was back in the 1700s and 1800s where there were 3, 4, 5 parties.

Omar is anti-American and anti-semetic, Schiff has lied numerous times and Swalwell slept with a spy....yeah they should be on intelligence committees...really?

Are the three named in the title of this thread all planning on running for re-election in 2024 alongside Joe Biden?
