This is rich, it shows the utter hypocrisy of those criticizing her.

If someone doesn't want to stand or wants to take a knee for the National Anthem/Star Spangled Banner, then that person is a 'hero' to be lauded for their 'courage' and stand against 'injustices.'

Yet, someone doesn't want to stand for a song that is NOT the National Anthem, then that person is to be ridiculed, criticized, mocked, canceled, and characterized as an evil 'racist' hate monger.

Kari Lake is facing backlash for sitting through a popular civil rights hymn at the Super Bowl.

Before Sunday’s Super Bowl liftoff, actor Sheryl Lee Ralph performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing”, a song that has been a part of the NFL since the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests and considered to be the Black national anthem.

Photos on social media showed Ms Lake – the Republican candidate who lost the Arizona Senate race last November – sitting through the song, something for which Twitter users criticised her.

There is ONE National Anthem, United We Stand.

Not a white national anthem.
Not a black national anthem.
ONE national anthem for all.

I was happy to watch her perform without the usual over the top personality. She sang it beautifully. She said it was a honor of a lifetime. A beautiful voice.

The black national anthem. Is there a country called Black? When was it decided that we should stand for the Black national anthem? This whole thing is just more divisiveness. We only have one national anthem. I support Lake.

Thus the reason they call it "national". Twitter is for "twits", of which I am not one, so I am not a part of "Twitter".

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/twit

1. a silly annoying person : FOOL

With Twitter, as a noun, described as either the sound of a bird, or a light chattering, so.................

So, what, she didn't stand. Some people don't stand, and I see that as their right in any situation, well, unless they are under arrest or a prisoner.
