Good for NH. She's a brave Republican-RINO.
JMO, but I think many, (maybe most) millennials don't expect to collect SS. The demographics doesn't work now, and may not work in the future with a falling total and working population.

I got mine. I expect to see future means testing. May not like it, but something has to be done sooner than later. Bush 43, tried to reform SS early in his second term 2006 (17 ya), but got nowhere in the Republican States and legislators.
YMMV

How many "low income seniors" are in their 20s?

I'm happy with young people paying for my SS when I retire

The respective trust funds are in jeopardy because of underfunding and demographics, not because of budget deficits and Interest on debt.

I will agree that our politicians "raided" the trust funds in that they were too optimistic in the US Economy.

YMMV

Haley is 51. She won't be subject to her own proposal re social security.
She's 51, she won't be subject to her own proposal of giving mental tests to those over 75, either.

There aren’t enough rich people to tax. Democrats are unserious people with no solutions to any of the problems facing the country. We need Trump back, bad.

Nikki Hailey along with Scott and Pence are a gift to the Dems now Biden and the Dems will have good talking points come 2024.
Obviously, it needs to happen, but it's crazy to advocate it outside of a bi-partisan suicide pact.
