"As the Secretary of the Navy, I can tell you that I have made climate one of my top priorities since the first day I came into office"

Del Toro spoke just days before the Biden administration released its proposed budget for 2024, which calls for shrinking the Navy fleet even though most military experts and senior Navy officers have called for more ships to deter China's larger fleet.

I never in my life imagined so many human beings could be so gullible, stupid, and/or corrupt. Thank you Democrat Voters.

Wait a minute. They have been telling us for years that Climate change is causing the polar ice caps to melt which means the coastlines will be flooded and lost to the sea soon.

One would think when that happens we need more boats not less?

What is wrong with these people? Has Common Sense left the room?

He actually said ONE of his top priorities. He could have 50 top priorities for all we know. That sounds a little like "if I say this they'll get off my back and let me do my job".

And maybe including a little climate change consideration in all decisions isn't such a bad idea.

Maybe. If you mean being mindful of causing less pollution and being careful of the environment, I agree. But if you think for one minute we humans have the slightest impact on the natural climate changes of the planet, we don’t agree at all.

Even 'The Atlantic' is warning of the potential loss of US Naval power and stated in a recent article that "The United States has ceded the oceans to its enemies. We can no longer take freedom of the seas for granted".

Sure. Could have and maybe, but I stopped thinking for and making up excuses for the inept a long time ago.

Great job! Democrat Voters for highlighting our weaknesses and bringing us one step closer to nuclear war with China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran. But climate change and those mean tweets.

Well, it’s too late, but this must also be taken into consideration in the 2024 elections. First, we need to elect a president that isn’t WOKE and does not puts America last AND get rid of every single General and Admiral that supports increasing WOKE-ism over war fighting.

And we wonder why our young patriotic Americans are no longer willing to volunteering to serve in our Armed Forces now. Honestly, I can’t blame them since who in their right mind wants to face a Court Marshal for misgendering somebody or for trying to motive a sissy-boy to get him/her/it through the bayonet course or to clear a trench line? Man!! I’m just glad that I’m retired since I couldn’t make it in this weak and WOKE military.
