I had to look up who Alexei Nalvany was and besides being poisoned with a nerve agent I would say yes, Trump is a political prisoner like Nalvany is.
They are trying to take out Trump with what comes down to a book keeping mistake. It is a political witch hunt set in motion to discredit and disgrace him. If they can do this to Trump they can do it to anyone.
And hundreds of other former leaders who were prosecuted and or executed by their successors.
New for the USA …. But here we are.
The reality is whether you like or dislike Donald Trump — it really doesn’t matter.
What DOES matter is the persecution of a Political Opponent in an Election.
There are really none of us that are not aware how dangerous this is, how it is against everything this Nation has stood for. It’s not about him —- it’s all about us.
Democrats are doubling down on (D)umb, that's all. In Russia, Putin is the only option available. The opposition is basically designated loser. In the USA, there is the GOP, which at times is indistinguishable from the democrats. But these times are not those times. As a matter of fact, the GOP is going through a very real transition. In Russia, the opposition is just poisoned by Putin or incarcerated. We'll see what happens to Trump, but it's almost as if this is a calculated move to get Trump reelected in a landslide over the demented potato. More and more Americans are coming to the realization that what we have now is not any better than what we had with Trump.
I don’t think there is a chance of him being locked up. Most likely all dismissed , but that won’t be until after election. They wanna tie him for a couple of years. Either way it’s a page right out of a dictatorship .
