Rolling Stone is reporting that Trump's attorneys have told him he is going to be indicted shortly. No word on whether Jack Smith has contacted them to tell them that, or whether they deduced it from the evidence they have seen that Smith has.

Trump obviously got the message loud and clear, if his latest post on Truth Social is any indicator.

Read an article in past day or two that Trump's attorneys were asking for a meeting with DOJ regarding the Jack Smith investigations

Trump thinks so, anyway.

We shall see, probably sooner than later.

They were trying to get a meeting with Garland about Jack Smith. Garland told them to go pound sand in no uncertain terms, and informed them that Jack Smith is the one in charge. The attorneys see all of the evidence Smith collects almost in real time. They could have just finally figured out that their client has dug himself a hole in the swamp and filled it with quicksand. The letter smacks of desperation.

The more I see of Garland, the happier I am that he wasn't wasted on SCOTUS. Mitch might have done the country a huge favor.

Turns out... that was just chum for his supporters, who actually thought he was really going to go after her. Chris Christie broke the news on Twitter soon after the 2016 election was over, that actually locking up HRC was never a plan.

Lots of people were posting saying they expected her to be indicted. Ha! Would never happen. People were so gullible, they bought every lie he spewed.

As for a pending indictment, it does appear ex-P is nervous about such a thing, since he's already broadcasting his tells.

How many regular people get to have their attornies meet with the DOJ to cut a secret deal or whatever before being indicted? I've never heard of anyone, ever.

Trump seems to be above the law, in his own mind at least. He's not even that rich, most of his wealth is tied up as potential equity in buildings.

He's just a big, fat, blowhard and bully who's about to get his comeuppance.

The people who BELIEVED in him are in or going to prison.

The Oath Keeper guy got EIGHTEEN years for Trumps attempted coup, and the dude wasn't even there. If he gets essentially life (the guys in his 60's) then so should his leader.

Maybe he can avoid extradition and join Snowden and Steve Segal with their best buddy in Russia.
