Sounds like Trump: I'll sign an executive order to violate the U.S. Constitution.

So I wouldn’t say that Trump had any chance to make it happen.

If by chance he regains the presidency, they’ll stop him again, too.

The elites want illegal immigration. Period. It makes them money, makes their lives easier, and they are immune to any of the negative consequences.

The elites don’t want these illegals to ever gain citizenship because they want the cheap labor.

But I do appreciate Trump at least trying to fix the situation.

FDR sent back all illegals (100% of them), in the millions of Mexicans and Central Americans back to their home country regardless if they were born here. Trump should do that too.

Birthright made sense and was designed for people who were welcomed due to assimilation were here for long periods of time because it took weeks/months to travel to another country back in the day. The law was never designed for someone to hop on a plane and in a few hours claim birthright.

Doesn't Congress have to pass this in order to end Birth Right Citizenship for Illegals?

Billions of dollars, even over what they may contribute in taxes (they get Child Tax Credits for their anchor babies) and SS, and since they have no right to work in the US, they are using a stolen identity from a citizen.

I suspect there will have to be a lawsuit that will hopefully end up with the SC to define what was meant by the 14th Amendment. Does anyone with a brain think that the way it is being abused is the way what they were talking about?

https://www.heritage.org/immigration...14th-amendment

"It is just plain wrong to claim that the children born of parents temporarily in the country as students or tourists are automatically U.S. citizens: They do not meet the 14th Amendment’s jurisdictional allegiance obligations. They are, in fact, subject to the political jurisdiction (and allegiance) of the country of their parents. The same applies to the children of illegal aliens because children born in the United States to foreign citizens are citizens of their parents’ home country."

This will be the argument, and it is backed by many scholars.

We really need this to be redefined, as we are losing our country.

***Maybe Trump now sees that since Biden was "put" in office, that the POTUS is now like a King, and can change or create anything at all with an EO.
I agree litigation is the way to go, but I have never seen such lawsuits. On a side note, there have been plenty of stories about Americans killed by illegals who were deported multiple times. Yet no lawsuits were ever filed against the Federal Government for failing to enforce immigration laws.

The biggest loudmouths against illegal aliens are the same ones who pay them for house maintenance (roofing, landscaping, etc.), and working in warehouses etc., giving them the reason to come over in the first place. Glorious hypocrisy on parade.

The "biggest loudmouths" have e-verify in place and enforce it.

Yeah right. A homeowner is going to use that when choosing to hire someone to do their housework. The warehouse stuff is all under-the-table, with no record-keeping. Don't be so naive.

News Flash: Executive Orders existed when Trump was POTUS. Why didn't he sign an executive order in 2017, like he's now saying he'll do on "Day 1" in 2025.

Now Trump supporters who raise Cain over Executive Orders issued by Democratic Presidents think that he can issue one to change part of the Constitution??

You can’t make this stuff up.
