I'm not being figurative either. Maybe I'm late to the party but the Biden family is typical low class Irish white trash. I'm from Brooklyn so I'm not sure why it took me this long to figure it out because we still definitely have some here but it explains a lot about him and his family.
No offense to any Irish but we all have trash amongst our ethnic groups.
There is nothing wrong with white trash; down here in the south, we are what makes things work. As Dolly Parton said in an interview in Southern Living magazine "White trash! I am. People always say, 'Aren't you insulted when people call you white trash?' I say, 'Well it depends on who's calling me white trash and how they mean it.' But we really were, to some degree. Because when you're that poor and you're not educated, you fall in those categories."
My grandmother grew up in Flatbush (Brooklyn) back when they ran a little vegetable farm, a long time ago! The family up there always through we were a bunch of ignorant redneck trashy folks. We took it as a compliment.
Yep, and he is proud of it. He mentions his humble roots just about every speech he gives. And yet, a significant minority of Americans of similar backgrounds think a corrupt, silver-spoon New York billionaire understands their condition and represents their interests better. Go figure.

No, he is evil. Honestly when I was a kid watching movies like the Dead Zone with a crazy president... I never thought I would actually see that president. He hates Americans.
Biden is just your common variety corrupt lifelong politician, his Irishness or lack thereof has nothing to do with it. Politicians of all stripes steal money and are corrupt.
