Nearly half a million Floridians moved out in 2021, although the net migration is still positive.

South Florida is officially the LEAST affordable housing market in the nation, and some people are simply priced out of the State.

Safe to say he won't be too focused on governing until he drops out of the race. Heck, they had to re-wrote the law for him to run, because the FL law stated he'd have to resign from governorship if he ran for president, but he had the law changed, so he can take his job back if / when he drops out of the race.

I can only assume Florida parents agree with the new school curriculum:

Florida Schools Will Teach How Slavery Brought ‘Personal Benefit’ to Black People
https://www.thedailybeast.com/florid...=home?ref=home

"...high school students will be taught an equally distorted message: that a deadly white mob attack against Black residents of Ocoee, Florida, in 1920 included “acts of violence perpetrated against and by African Americans.”

Dozens of Black residents were killed in the massacre, which was perpetrated to stop them from voting."

Approval of the new standards is a win for the DeSantis administration, which has effectively sought to create a new educational agenda that shields white students from feeling any sense of guilt for wrongs perpetrated against people of color.
The Florida governor signed the “Stop WOKE Act” last year to do just that, restricting how issues of race are taught in public schools and workplaces.

Actually, Disney is looking to sell some assets and word is it is just the beginning.

What would Central Florida look like without Disney World? We may just find out. Congratulations Florida.

So, basically they'll be teaching that slavery was awesome and did the slaves a huge favor.

Why am I not surprised.

And only white kids can stop the class by saying they are feeling uncomfortable.

Disney has been perverted and corrupt for awhile. It’s about time somebody took them on.

Their crime was to voice an opinion which disagreed with the governors political agenda, and as a result the government is talking all kinds of action to punish them. That's not how things are done in US. Its how things are done un Nigeria or Uganda, but not here.

And its not just Disney. He went after cruise lines, teachers, schools, school boards, lawyers, restaurants and other businesses.

Walt Disney was very apolitical

"In Neal Gabler’s biography “Walt Disney: The Triumph of the American Imagination,” we learn that while Walt was sometimes opinionated, especially when it came to his anti-communism beliefs, he wanted to keep Disneyland, Disney World and his animated characters free of politics, preferring fantasy and storytelling."

Disney today is obviously not following Walt's vision. No one can take down Disney the way Disney can take down itself.

I know you disagree, but in a free country anyone should be free to voice their opinion without fear of being punished by the government. The Constitution gives us that right.

Yes, Walt Disney was politically opinionated, but he was not punished for his opinions like Disney is now being punished by the government.

DeSantis is a textbook authoritarian politician, and his base applaud him for it.
