Which is why I'm trying to figure out where OP is getting the idea that Russia will invade Poland. If Ukraine is too much for Putler and his army, Poland won't be any easier. Especially with his army already stretched to it's limit.
I doubt Putin has serious plans to invade Poland. I think what he does plan is to draw Poland's money, personnel and materiel, and that of Poland's allies, to the Polish borders in order to strain their coffers and reduce the resources and political goodwill they have available for Ukraine.
If Poland were to start bombing Russians like the Ukrainian government was doing in Eastern Ukraine then yeah, I'd imagine that Putin would want to take down Poland.
