Same...completion of Prison/Jail sentence plus Parole, or completion of Probation term if they were not incarcerated, is what is should be...Once they've completed their punishment, all debt to society for their crime has been paid and they should have their full rights back including the right to vote.

Also, if someone is in Jail, awaiting trial, they should be allowed to vote...once they are convicted, they lose that right until the full sentence is carried out.

The most common felony convictions are drug charges. By quite a bit, actually. Typically it’s for possession or cultivation. So basically, you’re saying that if someone got caught growing marijuana you want them to never vote again.

For as long as the Federal tax code is used as a tool for discrimination, yes. Only net payers should get to vote.

Otherwise, the whole system devolves into people who don't contribute voting themselves other people's money. We're already there.

If you want everyone to get to vote, argue for equal, uniform, flat taxation.

and its commonly known, that people who indulge in drugs, never get off those drugs.... and if cannabis is illegal (and I am against that, i actually support hemp) then they will always be doing a crime....and if its a felony... then they need to deal with the consequences of their actions

btw, while the most common felony conviction is a drug RELATED charge, that list WITHIN the "drug chare" is quite long..... the 4 most common felonies in the usa....
#1: DRUG CRIMES
Although there have been recent changes in state laws, including Arizona, that now make some drug crimes misdemeanors, many drug crimes can lead to felony charges. Typical forms of drug crimes that can lead to felony charges include:

Manufacturing or cultivation....... if you are making/manufacturing it.... you KNOW you are illegal, and doing a BIG crime

Distribution or intent to distribute..... you are SELLING drugs for profit, many times to children....you KNOW you are illegal, and doing a BIG crime

Possession or possession with intent to sell......you are SELLING drugs for profit, many times to children....you KNOW you are illegal, and doing a BIG crime

Trafficking.... which includes not only drug trafficking, but human trafficking.....you are MOVING drugs to SELL for profit, many times to children....you KNOW you are illegal, and doing a BIG crime

Sale......you are SELLING drugs for profit, many times to children....you KNOW you are illegal, and doing a BIG crime

Money Laundering.......no need to explain this.... big time illegal

none of those felonies, are just small, or ok

#2: VIOLENT CRIMES

Murder

Voluntary manslaughter

Rape

Mayhem

Attempted murder

Assault with an attempt to rape, murder

Assault with a deadly weapon

none of those reformable

#3: THEFT
ARS § 13 – 1802 mandates that a theft shall be classified as a misdemeanor unless the dollar value of what was stolen exceeds $1,000. Any theft crimes that exceed $1,000 will be charged as a felony charge.

liberals seem to want these to be abolished from the books...according to liberals its ok to steal and loot

#4: SEX CRIMES
Sex crimes often lead to serious consequences, including felony charges. Common types of sex crimes that can lead to felony charges include sexual assault, child pornography, child molestation, sexual conduct with a minor, and more.

none of those reformable
