Spending has been declining since Biden took office...
7.47T in Trump's 2020 spike(as Trump owns all of that as he did not veto it)
7.38T in 2021
6.27T in 2022 https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/amer...eral-spending/
The massive spending such as the Inflation Increation Act has definitely made Jerome Powells job harder. He has had to raise the Fed Funds rate higher than otherwise, and he will have to leave it at this level for longer than he would otherwise.
Yet they keep on spending and it is never going to stop. Welcome to the new normal.
$33 Trillion national debt racing toward $40T and eventual financial collapse.
It is so typical that the Dems point to Trump as the start of the inflation.
The Dems shut down this country over Covid and they forced Trump to send out checks to everyone as a lifeline.
We went shopping yesterday for the essentials and it took $75 to fill the gas tank and over $200 in groceries. It is shocking.
I believe that the inflation is costing us $704 extra every month and we have a tiny footprint.
It's insane how so many Americans are having to tighten their belts BUT the Illegal Aliens get everything they want and the checkbook is always wide open for Ukraine...?

From the OP: "Thx Joe...you did build that! Why didn't Joe veto ANY of Congrsses proppsed spending? Since he didnt, then we must assume he was in agreement with it."
I don't remember inflation being a problem during Trump's presidency.
Spending, shut downs, government handouts, supply/labor issues, etc are all rooted in Trump's covid response.
