Simple poll. Could you live with or accept a win by Vivek? Yes or no works. All sides welcome and feel free to elaborate if you want to.

If he won the election, of course.

I just read up on his "adventures" in the financial world and he just appears as dishonest as most of the other politicians. He'll be answering some interesting questions along the way that should be give people a better "feel" for him. Hard pass.

I don't think he has the slightest chance, so won't worry about accepting a win by him. I think those that are bragging him up are liberals who realize this for the most part.

He could not win, and the GOP MUST HAVE A WIN or we lose the country.

I oppose the legalization of hard drugs, for one. Want more crime? How would they finance those drugs? It is no solution. This could mean he is tied in with Big Pharma, as he had ties to a biotech company (one set up in Bermuda to avoid taxes). Yeah, I can't support that.

I think so. Anybody but Biden (except for Pence, Christie, Hutchinson, some other dude that hates Trump)

What type of "win" are you referring to? The presidency in 2024?

He has zero chance this cycle. The powers in play won't allow it.

Now, come 2028 after Biden (or his replacement) completely destroys our country in the next 5 years, the populace will be begging for someone like Vivek.

Some of his positions are pretty ridiculous such as minimum voting age and mandatory civic exam. Also, if he were to go up in polls, some scandals will be expected to come out when he is put under the microscope.

I like his style though. Some guys rely on shouting and throwing insults during debates or talking in general about the opposition. I prefer more refined and dignified approach of addressing the questions directly and coming out as an intelligent, humble and more importantly, amicable person who is well liked by folks from broader range of political spectrum.

What more evidence (i.e., life experience) do we need??

Well, I voted yes. Not because I like him - I don't, he's pretty awful - but because he would be my president, and I'd have to cope. I certainly wouldn't be storming the Capitol demanding that Harris do something that she is not constitutionally allowed to do.

BTW, this is pretty much how I feel about DeSantis and RFK. And Pence.

But how the hell a Hindu is going to win the R nomination, I haven't a clue. Remember, he'd have to get votes from people who think yoga is satanic.

I would be okay with that. It's still early, though.

I disagree with him on some things. Know other of his ideas would never become law (like the civics test).

I like Tim Scott better.
