Just another example of DeSantis's that won't be well received away from his Florida base.

Senator Rick Scott did meet with Biden, and he had nothing but good things to say. "Can I just say something real quick about what the President has done? First off, the President did a great a job with the early declaration before the storm hit the coast. That was a big deal. It helped all these first responders. And then how fast you approved through FEMA the individual assistance and the public assistance. It's a big deal to every one of these communities."

Glad to see a Florida official taking the high road. I will admit I never expected it of Scott, but good on him.

Not a fan of his but he has more humanity than DeSantis. Years ago Scott visited a title 1 kindergarten class,

I agree. Christie and Obama didn’t share common ground but he welcomed Obama after Sandy. I feel like these type decisions are being made by presidential candidate DeSantis vs Gov DeSantis.

Didn't even read what DeSantis said, did we?

He refused a Biden meeting BECAUSE he cared more for his state than for politics.

Looks like you merely used the opportunity to blurt out a groundless smear.

Still can’t get over losing the governors race, can you? Your hatred of this man is so pathetic and unbecoming. It’s even worse than than Trump hatred I’ve seen on C-D.

Federal disaster relief money is not conditioned on your political leanings or Biden's ego. Taxpayers who pay federal taxes are thus entitled to the benefits therein.

Just another example of what a small, petty man DeSantis is. Not fit to be a governor; not fit to be a president.

Plus he's a liar as the BS about a meeting being too disruptive is bogus. FEMA officials said their mutual staffs worked out the location to avoid that.
