All of this narrative ignores the basic fact that the party runs on the donations of very wealthy contributors, who basically run the party and set the agenda.
So while you might have the impression that something significant has changed about the party, it hasn't. It's all a mind game being played on the MAGA faithful following. MAGA is a marketing scheme.
The very wealthy donors still call the shots, set the policy and write the legislation. The likes of Rick Scott, Chuck Grassley, Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz are all the same neocons they ever were ... Even the darlings of the MAGA movement (Hawley, Gaetz, Taylor) are the children of wealth. These people do not represent the working class.
All that is ever proposed by Republicans in Congress is the same old neocon BS they have been peddling since the 1980's, and the MAGA faithful support it all without question.

Koch Bros used to be the lefts boogeyman for Republican donos like Soros is for the right for Democrat donos. The funded dried up significantly when MAGA took over but now the facet is being turned back on to keep Trump/MAGA out.
The party is nowhere if it keeps running MAGA candidates.

Trump is the cleanest president in history, they could not find any illegal behavior in his nearly 4 decades of existence so they had to invent a bunch of crimes (fabricated Steele Dossier, fabricated corruption charges calling Ukraine to get evidence of actual Biden corruption, keeping classified papers when presidents have supreme authority to declassify, etc...).
You should be more concerned with actual criminals like Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama. Obama knowingly assassinated an American citizen without trial, and Hilary/Bill are suspected of several murders outside of when they were in the white house
