Every health issue is slowly becoming a "disease" and covered by insurance.
Then throw in all the "free" stuff (which we all know isn't really free) and people wonder why our healthcare costs (insur+service) is among the highest in the world.

Stated by every fat person. However if you're predisposed to need fewer calories to have a healthy weight, then you already know this and now it's a crutch.
Poor diets. Just saying, but when shopping for food, 75 percent of your groceries should come from the perimeter of the store. Avoid processed food and if you can't, eat them sparingly or make sure you have a good workout program so you can burn those useless calories off.
It's a combination of poor diet, poor lifestyle, and poor choices. Yes, sometimes genetics plays a role. But the reality is that both Big Food and Big Pharma have duped people for decades.
Teach people how to eat the proper foods and proper amount, and teach people how to exercise, and you'll impact a person's weight.
Ask yourself: When you look at pictures of people from the early 1900s America, do you see a lot of morbidly obese -- or even mildly obese people? Now why is that?
Obesity does not pay attention to income. Look at the amount of fat Hillary Clinton carries around. She can afford the absolute best experts in the fields of nutrition, exercise, etc. But instead of eating right and hitting the gym, she hits the Merlot.
