2nd bold:
A Progressive liberal Democrat giving Republicans "advice on how to win the election". Listen to yourself. That's like a Republican telling Democrats to nominate Ocasio-Cortez in order to win.
North, on your second point - ok, maybe so but polls show this too. The strongest Republican candidate in the general is Nikki Halley. The weakest is Trump. The second weakest is tiny d. In upside down MAGA land though, Trump is on a runaway train barreling toward the nomination. It’s yet another sign of the irrational craziness that has infected the GOP.

The Democrats won in 2020 because we nominated Biden. Did we want to? Not particularly- if you recall Bernie was on top for months and people were writing swan song editorials about Joe. We read the tea leaves, however, and realized the only person we had who would peel off enough moderate Republicans to win was Biden, so that’s who we went with. If the GOP was still a sane non cult of personality organization, it would be eyeing the good general election candidates it has and relaxing with the knowledge that it was going to beat Biden in the race with a walk.

That’s not what’s going to happen though. The GOP will nominate its cult leader and the man who is no one’s first choice but is an acceptable second for the majority will win again.

(And by the way, I feel for you. Non Trump supporting Republicans are on the front lines in the fight for American democracy. I often wonder what I would do if the Democratic Party was taken over by a criminal traitor who was determined to rule like a dictator. It would be hard to throw my lot in with Republicans but that’s probably what I’d end up doing at the end of the day.)

Well, you have your chance right now. Unless you think giving instructions to the news media on how to cover the impeachment inquiry, saying that certain things (gas stoves, ICE vehicles, gas furnaces for three examples) aren't going to be banned and then have regulations doing just that developed aren't a tad dictatorial.

She's a compulsive liar looking for a job at CNN or MSNBC. The lie she told a few days ago was debunked by a guy that was there.

Whether that's true or not I guess we'll ever know. I think a surprising amount of people from both sides of the aisle like Bernie though, as he's just a pretty likeable guy. He may not have won Georgia in the general as Biden did pull off, but Biden didn't actually need Georgia to win.

But yeah the irritating EC system would have not been good for Bernie, as base states are always in the bag no matter how many votes you get, and it's all about those purple states, where far-left is more hindrance.

I definitely supported and wanted Bernie to win in the primary, even as a non-socialist. His policies he ran on were not as extreme as people made it out. If anything, extreme... decency, caring about ordinary people's well-being and quality of life. Definitely not the worst kind of extreme.

*American zero. And admitted liar.

“Cassidy Hutchinson says she initially lied to the January 6 committee about a claim that Trump grabbed the steering wheel of his SUV and lunged at a Secret Service agent.”

“But soon after her deposition, she said she told her attorney, "I lied, I lied, I lied."”

No surprise to anyone that TDS will stick up for any liar that opposes Trump. Yet another thread fail.

She's a loser who needed money and decided to cash in. Democrats make heroes of the weirdest people. Avenatti, Cohen, Vindman...

Oh, what do they have in common? All bash Trump.

I am so glad we have patriots that joined Trump's team in 2020 knowing what he was like, even offered to move to Florida and work with Trump after J6 and only came out against him after she was let go.

She clearly is reasonable and not looking for a pay day.

She initially lied because she had a Trump attorney advising her. She recanted when she changed lawyers. She told the truth on camera and under oath. The two SS agents have refused to be placed under oath to disprove her testimony. Please tell the whole story next time.

Nice try, but nonsense. A half truth is still a full lie. From your article:
