Our debt to GDP ratio is 135%

An economic fiscally safe ratio is 75%

But yet the majority of voters will keep re-electing the members of congress that vote for these unbalanced budget bills. Somehow, that's never a concern to the voter come election time.

Nope nobody cares. It doesn't matter anymore anyway. Most of the debt is owed to the taxpayers / the federal govt. The treasury creates bonds (out of thin air) and uses it to buy federal reserve notes (i.e. cash), which are created out of thin air. Most transactions are compuerized now like Bitcoin. It's part of the fractional reserve system where private banks participate in the fraud by generating loans (new money) based on your deposits.

The govt will never pay down the debt. At some point they will just forgive most of the debt, tell china to FO and enact austerity on the population.

It's really a brilliant hustle by the best crooks in the business, the US Govt.

Now as for our house, we have a year's food supply, two years of TP, 100 gal of gas, 200 of propane, and plenty of ammo.

Let it all collapse.

Obama started us down this dangerous and bumpy road. He told us he was going to Fundamentally change America and he was doing it. Hillary promised to keep the pedal to the metal but lucky for us Trump dared to take on DC and he pulled us off the road to ruin but Biden has us right back on it.

If Trump can manage to overcome the "fix" in 2024 we will possibly have 4 years of common sense but we all know that the Democrat machine will be working 24/7 to destroy him with their damn the torpedoes, damn America Hatred. The Dems will divide us even further.

Billions to Ukraine. Billions to help "migrants". The streets of so many cities are becoming dangerous scenes like a Mad Max movie where good people cower and the lawless criminals flourish. Inflation is still surging and fuel prices are going up just in time for Winter.

There is nothing good about any of this and this posting doesn't even touch on the moral decay of our society and the brain washing of our children.

Rome is Burning and our Emperor is asking for a second helping of rice pudding..........

Venezuela's is 250% and a gallon of milk costs over $7

The thing about 'prepping" is that you will never have enough. And there is no "prepping " for what is to come, only adapting.

Trump, Biden who cares. It makes no substantial difference.

You're forgetting the trillions Bush squandered on a war of choice in Iraq. And the trillions Trump added to the debt. That's quite some selective memory you have there.

Does it really matter ? The debt was created by both parties over the course of history.

Why is it so important for you to blame your opposing party as if they created all of it ?

Go back and read post #1....the OP never mentions any party or President.

It's OUR debt.

We are not in an "apocalypse." We are still in the final pages of the final chapter of the "good" times. The "bad" times have not even started yet.
