A New York state Supreme Court ordered all New York City employees who were fired for not being vaccinated to be reinstated with back pay.
The court found Monday that "being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting COVID-19." New York City Mayor Eric Adams claimed earlier this year that his administration would not rehire employees who had been fired over their vaccination status.
NYC fired roughly 1,700 employees for being unvaccinated earlier this year after the city adopted a vaccine mandate under former Mayor Bill de Blasio.
Many of those fired were police officers and firefighters.
Any bets as to who Fauci goes with after he leaves his govt. job? Pfizer or Moderna?

I was thrilled to hear this decision. Just because someone refuses to be a guinea pig for Big Pharma, it should not mean they lose their jobs. Now, with the continuing side effects coming to light, they are probably among the happiest people in the USA! Win-win!

This is hilarious except the perps will not pay any price, just the taxpayers who were stupid enough to vote for them or vote for those who installed them. Hopefully some personal lawsuits will start rolling down the pike so the Fauci Fan Club enforcers pay a personal price.
Yes, Guido will have lots to answer for when he crosses the river. Such arrogance is hard to stomach. But everyone dies, his Maker will have something to say about this massive unprecedented fraud and power-grab. Amazing what some people will do for a few million bucks. It just goes to show what they're made of.

I am happy for those who will be getting back pay, but I think the biggest win is for all of us who refused the COVID jabs and were worried about being forced at some time in the future to get injections we don't want. About two years ago, I truly was worried about how I would buy groceries if I couldn't show proof that I had taken the COVID jabs.
I truly think and hope that government (federal, state and local) have learned that if they try this again, they might be faced with some consequences that they won't like.
Imo, all of those government, medical and media people who knew that they were perpetuating a fraud should be in jail now -- and Fauci should be imprisoned for the rest of his life, imo.

Fauci left his government job already months ago. We are currently paying him over $400K in pension each year. I think he's set for a while.
Cheers to those getting their jobs back and back pay. Now, if only the federal government would reverse the requirement for airline and airport personnel to be vaccinated, airlines and airports could hire back those people who were fired or forced to quit because they wouldn't get the shot and solve the airline problems of the past few years.
Now, NY will let go of the replacement hires and they will go to court to fight it and win.
