Those tress are on a tiny subdivision lot. My part is keeping the sidewalk level and trees in good condition. Arbor Care does that.

Now if somebody somewhere could locate the already a million gallon pipeline leak in the GOM.
The ultimate question boils down to which choice seems better ….

A warmer earth:

Or, a cooler earth:

I know which one I will pick.

No. They don't even get used for firewood. These are big shade trees in the cities and suburbs that are getting removed. One even sees trees being removed from farmland. Well, I shouldn't say that none of the trees removed get used for firewood. What I've seen though is large trees being fed into the chippers.

But we must subsidize coal powered EVs so save the planet. Well, they've stopped the subsidies. Nothing wrong with using coal to power vehicles. Some of it is even locally mined which makes sense.

Actually, it's the political left wing propaganda that distorts everything. There is a threat to our environment by 'climate change' is not it. Climate stupidity is a greater threat although more for socio-economic stability.

So 'climate change' is real. Ok, so now what? What do we do about it? Chop down more forests to put up wind farms? What's wrong with just developing more efficient use of the fuels we do use? What's wrong with just stopping the forest destruction and embarking on restoring and expanding forests?

Most of the giant forest fires we've been having are man made. Many from electric wires. These areas need underground wires, not overhead.

Those Climate Cultists you're talking about - Al Gore and Greta Thurnberg come to mind - are not scientists. Actual scientists give us the facts: the climate is warming. They don't tell us what to do about it. That's for politicians to decide.

But for all of the staunch advocates for eliminating man-made CO2, you go first. You do your “tiny part” and stop breathing.
Now you are just being silly. The amount of carbon dioxide that you exhale in your breath is miniscule compared to the amount released by burning a gallon of gas. No one is proposing that we need fewer breathing humans to reduce climate change.

I doubt if we'll ever completely wean ourselves off fossil fuels. But if we could convert a large percentage of our energy sources to renewables, which are cleaner, more reliable, ultimately more efficient and don't impact the climate, why would we not want to do that?
