Newsom is correct in what he said, but why is that 'giving one to Newsom' ?
Florida doesn't income tax low income people either.....because there is no state income tax for anyone in Florida.
For better clarification, I give it to him because he tried to explain how we tax and many people (even on this site) believe our taxes are high for everyone and they aren't. Oregon (as an example) taxes lower income people at a higher rate that we do. I know this because a dear old friend of mine retired there and though she was going to be better off but she isn't. Just wanted to clear up that misconception that seems to permeate the net. Our tax base varies on income.

Okay, so Newsom says he deployed the Nat'l Guard to increase security at the border but he only did that in September. What did he do for the past two and a half years? Nothing. Nothing! See. He's working on cleaning up his image. He just is. I live here. I see it. I'd love to see how he explains our $32 billion deficit for next year. He needs to stop touting that we have a surplus. We don't. smh

Oh, I disagree.
I expected Hannity to be overbearing and unprofessional, expected DeSantis to not be personable and relatable, and expected Newsom to be 'Joe Cool-ish' and not on the defensive at all......and have found all three to be pretty much the opposite of that.
Lol Newsom comparing Jacksonville to San Francisco to try to refute the overall state stats provided by the FBI. SF has a higher population than Jacksonville, too.
