Apparently she is a military veteran, and has mental health problems. During her 4 year stint in the Navy, she received several medals and other awards.
Her father states she was having a mental health crisis, and she had been missing for the prior two days while the family searched for her.
She will likely become a talking point for better mental health care for veterans.
Forgotten? Most Americans likely have no idea this happened at all. I can't imagine ☭NN or MSDN☭ talking about this.
Along with many of the other so called racist acts that the news media and politicians immediately assumed were caused by white racists, when it was a person of color trying to make it look like a white person did it.
It's so true, there is such little actual racism in the US, that the race baiting woke have to invent acts of racism to keep the population agitated.
I see the C-D racists are all out in full force today! Every time something like this happens, the same group jumps on it.
She was a military veteran with mental health issues, which isn't that unusual anymore, with more and more committing suicide. Some are on medications for their mental health issues that cause them to act in ways that make no sense. But, the only take away for most here is that she was black.

Some people will look for any excuse to vent their grievances toward Black Americans.
The Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. is a national treasure and a key historical figure within the American “story,” which contains both the good, as well as the bad. I am glad that they were able to stop her before she lit the place on fire since that would haven been a major loss.
With that said, I am also glad that she was Black cuz if she was White or even a White Hispanic, the media would have stoked the flames of racial hatred to the max hoping for massive riots in oir cities, just before Christmas.

When I look at some of the racial stuff that goes on within the CD forums, I say there would have been some sort of racial tension no matter what. Whenever the Dr King holiday comes around, there is always a thread about Black violence on the King Holiday, sometimes going as far as to say "this is Dr King's legacy".

Racists? That is a real stretch. Why does that claim come out so quickly these days?
I do not know the posting history of all here, but on this thread I see nothing that is "racist".
Pointing out how the left side of America would react if she had indeed burned the iconic MLK house, and gotten away with it is not racist.
Pointing out that the left side of America does not have the racialist "rage fuel" they crave, now that the would be arsonist is known to be black, is not racist.
I see no posts here that claim her being black had anything to do with what triggered her actions (because that would indeed be racist) . In fact I see several posts commenting on her mental state and her veteran status.
I am glad a tourist stopped her, and two off duty cops detained her until Atlanta police where able to come arrest her.
I hope she gets the mental health care it seems she needs.
